watched a few times and got it pretty well. i think the only parts that were confusing was the know at the very beginning. it took me awhile to figure out how to get it correctly. as well, as trying to figure out how to make the end.. do you make another knot? and somehow tie it to the loop?? some special way?

I have a good tip about knowing how much cord you are actually measuring. The width from the tip of one and to the other across your arms and shoulders, is equal (normally) to your height. Given you are at least 5ft, you measured 10ft of twine.
I like the contraption you made to keep the tension nice. I use a clip board sometimes, or holding the starting knot between my knees.
